Nick Drake released three records in as many years around the turn of the 1970's. A folkie born into a comfortably-middle class family just outside Birmingham, he'd sell only around 15,000 records before his death in 1974 aged only 26. Always a cult figure, Drake's popularity has soared in recent years in part due to his work sound-tracking television and film.I couldn't recommend his records highly enough, they're the perfect place to start no matter what genres you particularly go for. This track's from his second LP, and perfect, though in truth i could've picked any he ever wrote.
