You'll probably be aware of The Wedding Present. From Leeds, sort of Gang of Four-style guitary legends. They've been going for almost 25 years now, releasing nearly forty singles, eight records, and a dozen or so compilations.'Crushed' is from their second album, Bizarro. It's hard to believe it's nearly twenty years old. Their first three records, released between '87 and '91 are timeless, and the Tommy compilation's pretty decent, too.
